- Mistletoe --> Tanaman Parasit, mistletoe ini adalah sebuah tanaman yang berasal dari druid kuno, tanaman ini tumbuh secara ajaib dari kotoran burung. Pada kenyataannya, mistletoe adalah tumbuhan parasit yang mengisap makanan dari pohon, dan para leluhur dari druid kuno ini berinisiatif buat memberikan nama bagi si tanaman herbal ini menjadi mistletoe, tanaman yang penuh keajaiban ini menjadi semacam simbol dari kelahiran Tuhan.
- Apa Maksud "Mistletoe"?, untuk bahasa Jerman kuno, ini berarti "kotoran". Didalam bahasa Inggris kuno sendiri, "mistle" adalah nama buah putih dari mistletoe. Mistle secara harfiah berarti "shitling" atau "sedikit menjatuhkan" dan "Tan" adalah salah satu kata Inggris kuno untuk "ranting" atau "tongkat". Juga, Phoradendron, nama Ilmiah untuk Mistletoe yang berasal dari Amerika yang berarti "pencuri dari pohon" dalam bahasa Yunani.
- Hubungan Mistletoe dengan Tradisi Natal, awalnya hubungan antara mistletoe dengan tradisi natal pada abad ke-17, tetapi ada beberapa teori titik cerita yang berhubungan dengan Kristus dan Druid. "Salah satu legenda mengatakan bahwa kayu salib Kristus terbuat dari mistletoe, dan seharusnya untuk alasan bahwa tanaman mistletoe telah ditakdirkan untuk hidup sebagai parasit, dan sangat diklasifikasikan saat ono, sehingga membuat pohon lain dikutuk untuk hidup pada kemauan baik.
